Speaking of Green...

Green Symbolizes THIS!

Green (is the first word to create the sentences below)

Is the most popular decorating color

Symbolizes nature

Is the easiest color on the eye and can improve vision. (woo hoo!)

Is a calming, refreshing color

People waiting to appear on TV sit in "green rooms" to relax.

Hospitals often use green because it relaxes patients.

Is the color that Brides wore in the Middle Ages to symbolize fertility.

In a Dark color is masculine, conservative, and implies wealth.
hread, however, if often refused by seamstresses to be used on the eve of a fashion show for fear it will bring bad luck.

Color and Mood
It’s Easy Being Green
Green also looks good on every skin type and has a wide range of shades that allow you to modify your mood -- from serious and sophisticated to fresh and bright.

Green ranges from a dark hunter green where you can sit down, concentrate and read; to a spring-like yellow-based green, which symbolizes new birth or new growth -- the beginning of something.

Painting your walls Green can be tricky!

Green is the most restful color on the eyes; in fact, it is good for your eyes!
Green is a very complex color and has many hues and when used correctly can give a feeling of serenity.

Clean greens are fresh and vibrant while olive and muted tones can be depressing.
Pastel greens can feel relaxing and bright yellow-greens are energetic but can be overwhelming if used on an entire room. (I told you it was tricky)

(My research gets conflicting here.)
Dark green is associated with ambition, greed, and jealousy. (I like ‘Masculine and Wealth better)
Yellow-green can indicate sickness, cowardice, discord, and jealousy. (It’s not new birth or new growth?)
Aqua is associated with emotional healing and protection. (That’s not green anyway)
Olive green is the traditional color of peace. (But terrible for your walls)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
That’s it for my research, but I had to wrap it up with a song I wrote…
put your hands together!
All agree that GREEN Green
is a good thing
and would be
real
cool
bling on a ring!
(pause)
Orrrrrrr anything!
